Major achievements of recent years (3 years)

In order to meet the food needs of the growing population, the Department of Agricultural Extension has been able to produce bumper horticultural crops such as vegetables, fruits and flowers in the last one year through the transfer of advanced technology among the farmers. Horticulture Center Bhabanipur, Gazipur under Horticulture Wing has been carrying out significant activities for horticulture. 

In this program the program of production and distribution of high quality saplings / seedlings among the farmers has been intensified. In the last three years, 46290 fruit seedlings, 5800 flower seedlings / cuttings, ornamental seedlings / cuttings, 400 medicinal seedlings / cuttings, 2000 spice seedlings / cuttings, 46030 vegetable seedlings have been produced through this horticulture center. From which revenue income of Tk. 701,309 / - has been made in last three years.
